Denise Tyrrell Plaque
20th May
This is the tenth year playing for the Denise Tyrrell Plaque. Denise sadly passed away in 2015 aged 47, she was co-owner with Nikki Large of Baybrooks Restaurant in Algorfa and we thank Baybrooks for their continued support in sponsoring the plaque and the day’s golf in her memory.
The day started with a full English breakfast at Sheerin’s. The weather was perfect for golf with clear skies, a temperature of 28 degrees and a light wind. The format was blind draw doubles but still playing singles full handicap Stableford split into two groups. The course was in very good condition from tee boxes to the flag but some of the bunkers needed a bit of attention.
